History

With 150 years of history, Supremo is one of the longest-standing family businesses in Chile, with a legacy of prestige and quality that has accompanied us from our origins to the present day. We can proudly and happily declare that, as a result of our ongoing commitment to excellence, continued interest in innovation and energetic creative capacity, our products are now part of the daily lives of thousands of people, who choose us every day to be present in their homes. The history of Supremo is inextricably linked to tea, the noble fruit of the Camellia sinensis plant, which has had a special and central relationship with our business, forging a thriving alliance that dates back to the origins of Cambiaso Hermanos S.A.C., the company that owns and packages Supremo. In these 150 years of distinguished work, our company has traveled a successful path from the initial sale of loose tea leaves in sacks and crates, through retail sales in neighborhood stores, before growing into the thriving and renowned industry it is today, with a presence in Chile from Arica to Magallanes, as well as in more than 20 countries around the world.
